I will stamp all over 'credible boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for next month's bout.

Ex twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making huge earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly happening.
